The name for the series will be The Nile City Adventurers. Each book will have it’s own name. The first book is Egypt: Trouble with Temples.
The central characters are 15 yr old Samantha and 12 yr old Ian, brother and sister who live in the fictitious Nile City, MO on the banks of the Mississippi River. The city has its own Egyptian Temple in their museum. Ian does a bit too much playing around with the hieroglyphics and the pair find themselves sent back to 13th Century BC Egypt.
Their first adventure takes place in Egypt, but as they find a way back to their own time, they are bound with four quite different Egyptians. One is the town sheriff, one is a magician, another is the high priestess at a rival temple and the last is a cat, who turns in to a woman for one hour a day.
Egypt: Trouble With Temples was introduced in April, 1012. Here’s a peek at the cover:

The next book is on the drawing board and will take place in 400AD China. Expect it out in the second quarter of 2012.
